Rafting in the Ardennes
Until the end of April you are welcome for a spectacular descent in rafting of and Ardennes’ river. Rafting in winter is unusual but it is very funny because there is much more water.
After that period, we organize rafting in the base of whitewater in Saint-Laurent Blandy. The base Laurent Blangy near Arras proposes you to do rafting as if you are in whitewater. the base is artificial but it procures many sensations in kayaking and rafting. It was created 10 years ago on the verge of the Scarpe. Some big turbines simulate the whitewater.The goal is to avoid several obstacles on the way. The danger is limited because rocks are in plastic.
During the summer we organize multisport training in the Alps with rafting, canyoning, kayaking, climbing, …
Duration: an half day
Practical info:
- Duration: half a day.
- Where: Ardennes or in France in the surroundings of Arras (artificial river).
- Period : on demand.
- Budget: € 55 per person or with your bongo voucher.(entrance fee in Arras included).
Included: An experienced guide will guide you in the river. Everybody gets a wetsuit, a helmet and a life vest.
The participants must wear their swimming outfit as well as sportive shoes which may become wet. Also foresee dry shoes as well as dry clothes and a towel.
Not included: transfer, personal insurance for accidents. - Number of participants: ranging from 8 till 25 persons. Bigger groups on demand.
